In hope to help cheer Catherine up her friends take her out to dinner and on the way back from the ladies she takes a stubble and accidentally lands on a very handsome mans lap and this is Catherine’s first encounter with the one and only Jackson Cole.

Jackson Cole is the CEO of Raven Cosmetics and a former SEAL. He is pleasing to the eye on every level. Jackson hires Catherine to help him with the publishing matter at Raven Cosmetics but neither of them know that they have already met until she has agreed to the job and its time to meet her new client in person.

” Your Catherine Pope?? he asks, sounding amused as he tries to smother a grin”

This was the start of Catherine and Jackson’s journey. Jackson made it clear that her found her very attractive but poor Catherine was struggling to contain her composer as a professional publicist. When a business trip takes them out of town together she simply couldn’t resist him any longer but made it clear that it would have to remain a secret while they worked together.

The chemistry between these two was unbelievable they were drawn to each other and reading it you could sense there connection it was so beautifully written. The tender moments that they shared were breathtaking as they both showed glimpses of their lives previously and the heartbreak that they both had went through. This was where I felt like they were a perfect fit because all both of them wanted to do was protect the other, the warmth and compassion that they showed each other was fabulous!!!!!

But as this is Book One of the Belonging Duet it leaves us wanting to know more so we must read BEHOLDEN to find out more…………………

Two troubled souls carrying guilt that was never their fault but will they lean on each other or will they let it tear them apart…………

My Favorite Line in this Book………………………….

” I don’t know where it is, but I know I want to be around you, I know I thought about you every day and every night since we’ve met. There are a lot of things we need to learn about each other. But you fell in to my life and I won’t let you fall out. So whatever this is….. its ours”

Review……The Bossman – Vi Keeland

bossman

This book is funny, sexy, romantic and has you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. What happens when a surprise encounter leads to a relationship that is full off understanding, secrets, hot sex, witty banter and then a love that catches them both by surprise…….

Chase and Reese meet accidently when they are both on dates in the same restaurant and Reese is hiding out by the ladies because her date isn’t going so well but this is not an unusual occurs for poor Reece. Chase tells Reese exactly what he thinks about what she is doing and she is less than impressed by his remark even though he has looks to die for….

“You want to talk about snobby? You eaves-drop on my call and give me unwelcome opinions, all while staring down at your phone. You haven’t even made eye contact while we are speaking”

To finish her evening Chase decides to join Reese and her date and pretend to be an old school friend of Reese and then he proceeds to make up stories about her from when they were at school together could her evening get any worse……..

Poor Reese was unlucky in love but after that evening she couldn’t get Chase out of her mind there was something that drew her to him but she didn’t know what and she certainly never thought she would see him in the gym where her and her latest date went to work out. Poor Reese got completely flustered and then to make the whole thing worse Bryant her date had seen Chases picture on Reese’s laptop and she had told him that he was her cousin who was a model. Bryant proceeded to tell Chase this…. poor Reese let the ground swallow her up such a funny moment I was embarrassed for her reading it so funny….

“Nah. Haven’t met any of Reese’s family yet. Saw your picture on her laptop”

After that embarrassing moment they both talked and she told him that she currently was looking for a new job and he said that he could put her in touch with a good recruitment agent and they exchanged numbers but what her didn’t tell her was that the agent was employed by his business and the position was in his company omg let the fun begin……

Reese took her job seriously and made it clear to Chase that his advances would always be declined because he was her boss so this left Chase in a pickle because he couldn’t stop thinking about her she consumed his thoughts in every way. When reading the book you can sense the sexual tension between them and the fight that Reese has to go through to control her feeling.

Eventually it all gets too much and Reese gives in to it all she cant fight her feelings anymore even if she could damage her career….

” I launched myself at him, throwing my arms around his neck “I quit” he wraps his arms around my waist, and with one quick hitch, lifts me up “Its about dawn time”

Love never runs smoothly and sure where would the fun be if it did!!!

Chase has secrets that is holding him back from moving forward with Reese and until he addresses them and finds closure they cant be together. In this period in the book the hurt, love and understanding they have for each other is portrayed so well and it had a major hint of anticipation and hope.

I loved this book and would definitely give it 5 stars I have recommended to friends it was a book that I didn’t want to end there was a lot of banter and fun but it also had moments that made my heart melt and was swooning all over the place. Well Done Vi Keeland another great book……….
